Day 1 [25 December 2008]
0900: left home for Kuala Kedah
1030: arrived at the jetty; dad went to purchase ferry tickets
1330: supposed departure time for the ferry
1425: the ferry finally left for Langkawi Dx
1610: arrived at the island \(^_^)/ had our SUPER LATE lunch; walked around, and bought the nuts that mum loves so much xD
1745: dad got a rented car so we drove to the hotel which was right next to the airport Dx it's called 'Helang Hotel'
1800: after resting a bit, we decided to drive around...
1900: arrived at Underwater World Langkawi (UWL); walked around the place, saw a bunch of interesting sea creatures 8D
1930: arrived just in time for the 3-D show at the theatre, which was interesting but too short :(
2030: walked around a bit more; saw a few gigantic stingrays and touched a python 8D left UWL as it was near closing time
2100: had our dinner at a mamak place Dx ordered 2 pieces of roti planta and washed it down with teh 'o' ais xD
2140: returned to the hotel
2230: went to bed early xD

Day 2 [26 December 2008]
0730: woke up bright and early 8D
0900: went downstairs for the breakfast buffet 8D had about 4 slices of bread with butter and strawberry jam, yummy 8D also had some fried kuey teow, which i could only taste its spiciness Dx i lost count of the number of grilled sausages i had 8D washed it all down with 4 glasses of orange juice X3
0950: finished breakfast and returned to hotel room
1020: left the hotel to drive around some more...
1030: first stop - Petronas Quay...where a whole bunch of cruise ships/sail ships were docked at
1109: next stop - Seven Wells Waterfall aka Telaga Tujuh. we actually trekked up the hill to get to the waterfalls oTZ dad only stopped halfway though Dx the uphill trek officially killed my leg muscles oTZ
1230: finally made it down the hill oTZ gulped down a whole bottle of 100 Plus.... NEVER AGAIN, i tell you...NEVER
1250: next stop - Crocodile Farm... where there were a bunch of big-ass crocs O_O
1315: luckily, we were there in time for the crocs' feeding time :3 looking at the crocs were scary enough...i can't imagine feeding them daily oTZ
1400: walked around a bit more.. dad got us (and himself) keychains which had a crocodile's tooth hanging at the end Dx
1425: next stop - Black Sand Beach...where the sand are actually black o_O" we also had our lunch there :3 and also got ourselves keychains with contained the black sand xD
1515: left the beach and moved on to the next place on the map...
1525: next stop - Tanjung Rhu Beach..where the sun is beating down on our heads Dx and a bunch of foreigners were sun bathing on the white, white sand... i don't understand how they can stand the EXTREMELY hot weather oTZ
1550: couldn't stand the hot sun anymore so we moved on ...THANK GOD!
1605: next stop - Air Hangat Village...where renovations were still on-going so we stopped by for a short while... the water is actually warm
1650: next stop - Mahsuri Mausoleum. we actually took the longer route to enjoy the sights xD the place itself was pretty packed with visitors Dx walked around a bit and visited the mini museum there too
1745: left the mausoleum
1805: arrived back at the hotel ...and took a much needed shower Dx and also a short nap zzZzzZZ
2045: went out for dinner at an Indian restaurant. had naan bread with tandoori chicken, yummy :3
2220: returned to the hotel; watched some TV shows and ate nuts XD
2330: went to bed zzZZzZZZzz

Day 3 [27 December 2008]
0945: slept in a little today.. parents went downstairs for the breakfast buffet while me and sis slept..zzZZzZz
1015: breakfast for me and sis were noodles in a cup Dx
1130: checked out of the hotel
1140: stopped by Field of Burnt Rice aka Beras Terbakar. nothing to see there actually oTZ
1230: arrived at Kuah town and had lunch. walked around and bought lotsa chocolates ♥
1415: left the town
1430: arrived at Jetty Point
1530: departure time for our ferry
1600: left the jetty... arrivederci Langkawi~
1730: reached Kuala Kedah jetty when our ferry came to a halt Dx apparently the ferry got stuck in the mud oTZ and we had to wait for help so the ferry can be moved away from the muddy area Dx
1850: finally reached the jetty
1905: dad went to get the car and we drove back home~
2030: reached BM town and had dinner before heading home
2210: home at last!

and that's it for our Langkawi trip :D sis actually wanted to go to Pulau Dayang Bunting coz she wanted to see the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden with her own eyes... but the cost to go there would totally kill dad's wallet oTZ
other than killing my leg muscles, the trip was definitely a memorable one :)
