went to college this morning only to find out that class has been cancelled

okay.

went downstairs to the internet lab and printed out the project proposal's draft. left the lab and went to find my lecturer to show him the draft. i'm glad that he's fine with most of the work that i've done :D but i still have to improve some things of course.

went downstairs to the canteen. bought a bun and a box of Dutch Lady Chocolate Milk :D hung around a bit till 12pm then i went to the mamak stall to have my lunch 8D

after lunch, i went to the library with the intention of catching some zz's but got struck with an idea for a story so i HAD to write it down otherwise i'd forget 8D

then it was finally time for my afternoon class... learnt more crap stuff today =_= good thing the lecturer let us off early today coz some of them had their thesis/project to do LUCKY!!

drove home as fast as possible to pick sis up so we could buy a surprise birthday cake for mum :D

went to Jusco Bandar Perda first. power-walked to Secret Recipe to look for a cake. didn't have any that mum would like so we went to Baskin Robbins instead. unfortunately their display case had broken down so there weren't any ready-made cakes that we could buy... and if we wanted one anyway, we'd have to order at least 3 days ahead first Dx so never mind, we bought a pint of mango & lime ice-cream instead 8D

rushed over to Summer Bakery to continue our search for a cake. finally narrowed it down to either Vanilla Butter Cake or Fruit Cake... we went with the Vanilla Butter Cake in the end since we were afraid that the fruits on the Fruit Cake were rotten bad...

rushed home and put the ice-cream into the freezer since they didn't give us any dry ice this time :( damnit i wanted to play with the dry ice

then we just had to wait for mum to reach home XD

when she finally came home, we had to hide the cake first in the study room LOL 8D then, when she went off to shower, we brought the cake out to the dining room and lit the candles with grandma's help xD waited some more for her to finish her shower Dx felt really nervous coz the candles were melting really fast oTZ

needless to say, mum was surprised to see the cake 8D of course, we told her to quickly blow out the candles coz it was melting over the cake Dx then we shared the cake among ourselves XD sorry dad, your own fault for working late XD and we also shared the ice-cream :D so yummy~~!

of course we left some for dad XD didja really think we'd leave him out?
